I received a couple of e-mails this week one from an 18-year-old student in the UK looking for advice on how to get sailing experience.
I’m a great believer that in order to achieve something in life you have to have a dream, a drive, and a passion this letter came from a student who obviously has this desire. If you’re reading this podcast description and you listen to the podcast if you have some suggestions for this young man and you would like me to pass on to them or if you would like to contact him directly I can accommodate this request. I did the best I could in answering his question.

And finally the main show is about a new company called Static Boat Holidays. I talked to the founder Vivian Sullivan and she explains her idea and the concept behind her new company. This is another possible way for boat owners to get more use and possibly some income off of their boats. One thing I didn’t ask which I think I would need to clarify would be whether the insurance companies would need to be informed of the changing use of the boat. Something to ponder.
