The Audio Quality is not up to snuff on this episode.  It was recorded while driving my old truck and there was quite a bit of background noise.

I want to thank all my listeners for their comments and positive reviews in iTunes.

As a result of one of these comments I have put together a 7 hour 6 min. 16 lesson audio course to help students prepare for the American sailing Association Basic Keelboat Certification commonly referred to as the ASA 101 exam. It’s now available at a price of $29.99 the first 30 listeners to this podcast can get a discount of 20% off this price by using the coupon code mentioned in this recording.

In this episode I cover spend a lot of time answering a listener question about sailing across the Atlantic and where to leave his boat once he gets to the Mediterranean.

After this I go into part two of the Cyclades the island Paros as best I can from memory while driving.

The Cyclades chain is a large area and I do not recommend beginning charterers start out here the the weather patterns in the summer can be quite challenging. But I do suggest that if you choose to charter here choosing charter basis far south in the islands as possible knowing that during your charter. You’ll be working your way north and should the dreaded Meltimi start to blow you know it’s a sleigh ride home.

I am debating putting together a trip sometime this winter and interested in finding out if there is a demand for my listening audience to join me on a sailing charter vacation somewhere warm, and Justin beginnings exploration stages of this idea and I’m thinking of New Zealand, French Polynesia, or Thailand. If you would have any interest in joining me on such a trip let me know your interest and your budget. If there’s not enough interest I’ll just drop the idea.
